Capitol Information Service, Inc. has been serving the legal, banking, and business community for over four decades and is the leader in preparing and filing documents and obtaining information from the New Jersey State Treasurer's Office.

Unlike most other service companies, CIS is located right in the state capitol, just a few doors from the Commercial Recording Bureau. We hand-deliver filings and search requests three times a day and file thousands of documents each year.

SAME-DAY LLC & INCORPORATION SERVICES ®

Our specialties are our Same-Day LLC & Incorporation Services ® for attorneys who want to form an LLC (Limited Liability Company) or incorporate a business (Corporation) quickly. Use our service to:

  • Save you and/or your staff valuable time — just read the information to us over the phone and we'll prepare the certificate.
  • Save your client the inconvenience of having to sign the document — CIS will sign as incorporator or authorized party.
  • Get a corporate kit or record book without spending time to order it yourself — CIS will order it and have it sent to you or directly to your client.
Orders placed with CIS before 2:00 p.m. are submitted to the state the same day, and usually returned to us the following day.

If you prefer to prepare your own documents, save time and avoid frustration by not filing them yourself by mail, waiting perhaps weeks for a reply. Instead, fax or mail your papers directly to us, and we'll take care of the filing faster, with personal attention to your request. If the document is rejected, we can make the necessary alterations and resubmit it quickly.

As soon as a document is filed, or search completed, CIS staff will confirm the filing date or results, then return the papers to you as quickly as possible.

For non-attorneys who wish to form corporations or LLCs, we can provide the necessary forms to be completed and signed, and we'll file the papers with the state.

We take pride in our personal service. Although we do not offer legal advice we can be most helpful in answering procedural questions. To avoid rejection we review documents sent to us for missing or incomplete information.

If we prepared and signed the original certificate of incorporation or formation, we can also prepare and sign (before the first meeting of the board and within one year of the filing date) the following: Amendments and Corrections, Fictitious/Alternate Name Registrations, and Dissolutions Before Commencing Business.
  • County Searches. We contact independent county abstractors for UCC, Judgment, and Federal Lien Searches, and Copies of Trade Name Certificates.
